Procedure of dematerialization of GAMMA accompanying documents

The dematerialization of EMCS / GAMMA accompanying documents was implemented by the Customs and Excise in order to improve the follow-up of the movements of products subjected to excises (alcohols, alcoholic drinks, beers, tobaccos and energy products). This e-procedure, concerns essentially the intraeuropean flows, it has for objective to insure the traceability of all the concerned movements. It is compulsory, in part since the April 1st, 2010 and will be
operational for all the intraeuropean flows on January 1st, 2011 (the national flows can be also dematerialized).. This procedure will allow the operators to follow in almost real-time the movements of goods and get rid of paper constraints (postal deadlines, losses…).

iDGamma module, certified by the Customs and Excise, allows the following operations:

  • Input and follow all the requested data for the creation of an electronic document (DAE)
  • Data checking before sending to the Customs
  • Send the data to the Customs in EDI or DTI + procedure, in a totally secured wayNotify the sender as soon as validation by the Customs of the electronic document and automatic reception of the CRA number
  • Notify the sender as soon as validation by the Customs of the electronic document and automatic reception of the CRA number
  • Notify the warehouse agent of an incoming reception.
